Aertec diversifies and expands its services in the UK

At the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA), Aertec is showcasing its specialisation as a consultant for ‘Programme Management Office’ services.

The company is already developing this together with EOCEN in Spain, France, Germany, and Canada, and it now intends to implement it in the UK. The company is also looking to consolidate alliances in the MRO sector.

“Farnborough is an excellent platform to show the industry everything we do at Aertec around the digitisation and automation of technological solutions, which are the trends that are shaping the aeronautical and aerospace sector,” stated Ángel Lucena, director of Aertec’s Aeronautical Industry division. “The UK is a strategic market for us where we want to continue to grow in areas where we are well positioned, but also advance in the implementation of other services that we already develop in other countries.”

FIA 2022 focuses an important part of its programme on the sustainability of aviation, and on those innovations and developments that will reduce the climate impact of the aerospace sector. For years, Aertec has been working on the zero-emission aircraft, being one of its priorities in its R&D programme, and is at the forefront of aircraft electrification thanks to the design and development of HVDC power distribution solutions – High Voltage Direct Current and electrical systems that replace hydraulic or pneumatic ones.

“The gradual recovery of the aeronautical sector will be visible in Farnborough, a recovery that is based on decarbonisation and sustainability, and on all the developments and technologies that are contributing to a greener aviation,” added Darren Culshaw, country manager of Aertec in the UK. “And it is here that Aertec brings numerous solutions that add great value to the industry.”
