AirBench releases wet downdraught bench for flammable dust

AirBench has announced the launch of a new range of wet filtered downdraught benches.

AirBench WB is designed specifically for flammable dust which produce sparks when worked – for example titanium. WB uses a double-pass system of baffles to quench sparks in the integral water bath; filtering dust by passing through multiple water sprays.

Airflow is generated using a high-efficiency centrifugal fan, selected specifically for the high pressure needed to induce a water spray.

To date, filtration of this grade has required ducted installations. WB is a huge step forward in that it can be installed by the user, in under an hour. Simply position and join the two sections, connect to power and water and work can begin.
