Airtec's event organiser claims that the aerospace supply fair held on November 2–4, 2010 at the Exhibition Centre Frankfurt/Main was able to double the exhibitor numbers and increases threefold its exhibition area.
As a combination of trade exhibition, technical conferences and integrated B2B meetings, Airtec is said to record a very high presence of OEMs, engine manufacturers and system suppliers with their supply chain management. This strengthens Airtec 2010 as an independent supply fair for aerospace.
At the fifth anniversary of Airtec, exhibitors were awarded with the Airtec Award in gold, silver and bronze for their special innovations and achievements in aerospace. The ceremony took place during the evening of November the 3rd.
The event hosted four high profile international conferences. Along with the international Supply on the Wings conference, Airtec 2010 provided international conferences along with the theme parks HELI World, UAV World, and the new theme park SPACE World. In addition, a workshop on quality management took place.
The organiser feels that B2B meetings are an essential part and are responsible for the success of Airtec 2010. With nearly 1,000 meetings, Airtec was able to more than double the figures, illustrating a strong desire for such business platform, where OEMs and system suppliers can interact and target SME suppliers.
The date for next year's event is November 2–4, 2011 at Exhibition Centre Frankfurt/Main.
