Asian Aerospace 2011 reaching new heights in Hong Kong

Asian Aerospace Expo and Congress 2011 opens its doors at AsiaWorld Expo, Hong Kong, with a ceremony at 10am Tuesday, 8th March.

More than 11,000 trade delegates are registered, including 3,500 from China. Taking place for the third time, Asian Aerospace 2011 is set to be the best ever, with a packed programme of informative conferences and busy exhibition hall, where 270 exhibitors from 32 countries will be represented under one roof.

The three-day event will look at critical issues facing civil aviation in the region such as growth and development, infrastructure, financing strategies, MRO, airspace optimisation and new and emerging technologies.

The large static aircraft display at the Hong Kong Business Aviation Centre will feature a record number of business jets. Bombardier will exhibit a Learjet 60XR, Challenger CL300, Challenger CL850 and Global Express XRS, whilst Gulfstream will have a G150, G200, G450 and G550 at the show, together with another G450 from Jet Edge. Complementing the static display, business aviation professionals are invited to attend the two-day Asian Business Aviation Association event, ‘Business aircraft in Asia – a buyer's and operator's guide' sponsored by Jet Support Services, Inc (JSSI) during on 9-10 March. To be held in the Conference Room, Hangar 2 at Hong Kong Business Aviation Centre, the aerospace industry's top global and regional experts will offer their views on the market - Airbus, Bombardier, Cessna, Dassault Falcon Jet, Embraer, Gulfstream, Hawker Beechcraft Corp, JSSI, Merrill Lynch, TAG Asia, Jet Aviation, Hawker Pacific, The ASA Group, Signature Flight Support and Flight Safety International, plus GAMA Vice President Ed Smith.
