Avionics & Defence Electronics Europe, the premier platform for the avionics community, has announced that ‘bavAIRia' will be holding an Aerospace Symposium during the 2011 Event.
bavAIRia will be hosting an Aerospace Symposium on Thursday 17th March 2011, from 14:00 to 16:00 entitled ‘Challenges and solutions in realising the extended enterprise in product development'.
In high-tech industries such as aerospace, defence and automotive, the share of product development being performed outside the OEMs by partners within the supply chain is increasing.
A huge challenge is to better integrate the development of mechanical components, electronics and software taking place at various companies into a seamless process. The more partners and suppliers an OEM involves in product development and product lifecycle management, the more complex management of the extended enterprise gets regarding engineering process integration and data exchange, but also regarding supply chain efficiency and information security.
The exhibition and conference will be held from the 16-17 March, 2011 at the MOC Event Centre, in Munich.
