Bostik to exhibit at Aircraft Interiors Expo 2019

Bostik says it anticipates an exciting 2019 Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) in Hamburg, Germany, April 2-4, 2019, where the company will exhibit for the second year on stand 1E20.

Part of the Passenger Experience Week, AIX is the largest and best-attended trade fair for the aircraft interiors market. Each year, more than 18,000 professionals from throughout the airline industry and around the world attend the tradeshow to learn about the latest technology from nearly 600 exhibiting companies.

Bostik plans to build on the success it had during its first time exhibiting at AIX in 2018, by once again welcoming guests to its AIX tradeshow stand. In booth 1E20, Bostik will present its broad portfolio of dry film and web adhesive technologies for interior wall panels, floors, doors, seats, decorative fixtures, laminates, thermal and acoustical insulation systems and beyond. Bostik staff will also be on hand to discuss the unique adhesive needs of stand visitors and how Bostik can develop custom formulations that create the perfect bond for each application.

Among the products displayed on Bostik’s stand will be the company’s flame retardant web and film adhesives. Designed with strength, durability and safety in mind, they satisfy the most stringent flame, smoke and toxicity requirements in the aircraft interiors industry. Bostik’s flame retardant webs are said to provide excellent adhesion for skin-to-core bonding, decorative fabric construction, and upholstery and layered laminates. In addition, they can help aircraft manufacturers increase productivity, extend product shelf life and reduce energy and operating costs. Bostik has applied its decades of knowledge experience in the aerospace industry to create easy-to-handle film adhesives for aircraft interiors. A smart choice for decorative laminate bonding, contact adhesives, veneer attachment and foam bonding, Bostik film adhesives also help manufacturers control consistency.
