Aerospace and defence manufacturer, Brookhouse Aerospace has launched a new website as the next phase of its rebranding.

Following the management buyout (MBO) in February 2021 led by Christopher Morris, Group CEO and Matthew Rossiter, Group CFO which saw the company split away from the US based Kaman Corporation, the business plans to fully rebrand as part of its strategic development and growth.

Prior to the MBO, Brookhouse Aerospace was called Kaman UK and was part of Kaman Corporation since 2008.

Brookhouse Aerospace is now an independent UK business and the rebranding of the business reinforces the break away from Kaman, but draws on the long history of a company which has been in business since 1951, originally set up as a family business serving the local foundry industry producing metallic patterns and tools.

“The rebranding of Brookhouse Aerospace is critical to future growth of our business,” commented Christopher Morris, Group CEO. “I am very pleased that the new website has been launched to plan. In a world where information is available instantaneously, it is more important than ever that our unique capabilities are promoted to the wider aerospace and defence markets both in the UK and globally through a strong digital presence.”

The UK facility has grown its focus from manufacturing solely composite components, structures and assemblies, to offer a complete manufacturing solution covering a broader range of capabilities. Brookhouse Aerospace can now offer expertise in metallics, sheet metalwork, fabrication, machining and metal and composite bonding. The facility now has on-site a fully Nadcap, Airbus and BAE Systems approved treatment facility to support customer needs. Additionally, the business also offers a range of Ground Support Equipment to MRO customers and will continue to invest with new equipment in support of customer requirements.

Andy Holey, head of business development added: “As an Independent UK based business, we are keen to promote this fact to the wider audience and together with our consolidated approach to the engineering and manufacturing composite, metallics and treatments from one facility, the launch of the new website helps customers understand our capabilities. As customers are looking to reduce Supply Chains and ask suppliers to take on more responsibilities, we are keen to promote our understanding of this mindset. The strategic decision to offer composites, metallics and treatments from one site is unique within the industry and supports the demands from the market.”

Brookhouse Aerospace’s key markets lie within the Aerospace and Defence sector and the industry is facing challenging times ahead due to several factors. With the growth and expansion in capabilities the business will be able to demonstrate to its customers an ability to satisfy their needs on a wider scale.
