CEO of French aerospace firm awarded manager of the year

CEO of JPB Système, Damien Marc, has received the manager of the year award at the recently held Les Trophées de l’Aéronautique, hosted by La Tribune.

Marc, who saw off competition from the CEOs of French firms Radial and OpenAirlines, has been in charge of JPB since 2003 and picked up the accolade following what has been an exciting year for the Paris based firm.

The company has expanded its product offering of self-locking nuts for aircraft engines and into Industry 4.0 technology with the announcement of its KeyProd system at this year’s Paris Air Show.

The middleware solution enables companies to connect, track and measure the effectiveness of all elements of the manufacturing process.

The evening also saw further honours awarded to French ETIs and SMEs in the aerospace industry for categories that included best development strategy, operational performance and innovation.
