Cognition is delighted to announce a new event in the electronics industry calendar for 2011.

Cognition has announced a new event in the electronics industry calendar for 2011.

Called ‘Connect and Protect', the event will be a design and application driven affair which will be held in Portsmouth, in the Marriott Hotel and will take place on the 21-22 September 2011. There will be a two-day seminar programme as well as a low cost desktop exhibition.

‘Connect and Protect' event is targeted at design engineers, procurement managers, component engineers and contract equipment manufacturers. This event aims to highlight the latest developments in connectors and passive components, such as resistors and capacitors. The first day will be on in the topic of interconnect technology and the second day will cover the latest products in passive components.

“This event aims to focus on the interconnect and passive component areas often overlooked but vital in the design of all electronic products,” commented Ian Blackman, director of Cognition. “We believe that this two day seminar will offer delegates the opportunity to gain knowledge and understanding and also attend a small exhibition.”

The cost to attend this two-day event is £500 +VAT or £300 +VAT for a single day. This includes refreshments, meals, and presentation notes. There are also sponsorship opportunities available.
