By introducing the new horizontal MA-8000H machining centre on the market Okuma says it is able to optimally meet corporate requirements for automated manufacturing solutions for large workpieces.
Okuma, a specialist in CNC machine tools and process optimisation, working together with Dr. Kaiser Diamantwerkzeuge, has developed a new control app for CNC programs.
Okuma, represented in the UK by NCMT, has added the GENOS M460V-5AX vertical machining centre to its portfolio. With its simultaneous 5-axis machining capability, the machine enables parts production of the tightest tolerances.
Okuma presented a new line of machine tools at the 28th Japan International Machine Tool Fair. The manufacturer’s trade innovations included state-of-the-art 5-axis vertical machining centres and a new type of intelligent multitasking machine.
Okuma has recently opened a third technology centre for aerospace clients. Following the successful opening of their European and U.S. locations in Paris and Charlotte, North Carolina, the CNC-provider’s latest Aerospace Centre of Excellence in Aichi makes equipment, parts and engineering services available to the Japanese market. Okuma therefore consolidates its status as a reliable partner for aerospace manufacturers around the globe.
For their 2016 summer workshop Okuma welcomed more than 200 visitors at their European headquarters in Germany to explore the latest gear machining solutions.
