Complete range of positronic connectors for available from Lane Electronics

Lane Electronics, a franchised distributor for many of the industry’s major electrical and electronic connector manufacturers, is an authorised distributor for Positronic, a leading manufacturer of high reliability power and signal connectors offering mission critical performance.

The company can offer a wide range of high power, D-Sub, rectangular, modular and circular Positronic connectors suitable for Industrial, medical, aerospace and MIL applications.

The most common connector used in the electronics industry is the D-sub and Positronic manufactures a wide variety of sizes, termination styles and contact variants to suit many applications, options include:

  • Standard density standard density D-subminiature connectors for general purpose signal connectivity.
  • Standard and high-density combo D-sub connectors which can combine signal, power, coax, thermocouple and high voltage applications.
  • High-density D-subminiature, Positronic version with increased contact density.
  • Environmentally sealed and waterproof, high reliability D-sub connectors.

Other Positronic connector products available from Lane Electronics include the SCORPION series, the most versatile modular power/signal connector on the market, which can be configured for use as a power connector, a signal level connector, or a combination of both. Rated up to 100 amperes per contact and with venting options for improved air cooling the Scorpion series features unique locking systems for blind mating, float mount and cable connector options. A low profile, 8.2mm, version is available for high density applications.

Positronic also manufacture a number of specialist connectors available from Lane Electronics. These include MIL-DTL-28748 rectangular rack and panel connectors, the Goldfish Power Series with high power Hot Plug capability, Power Connection Systems (PCS) connectors, the industry standard for a wide range of power distribution applications, and the GH, LGH and MGH Series of miniature circle hex connectors ideal for use in industrial applications where light weight, miniature, high reliability interconnections are required.
