Feedback from existing users was reassuringly good, and we were further attracted by the user friendliness of the system. The ProgressPlus software offers enhanced ease of recording traceability information and the simplicity, clarity and flexibility of the system come in a comprehensively put together package.

“Of course, Berkeley Myles is an accredited Sage developer, which ensures seamless integration with our existing Sage financial software. In targeting high-traceability sectors such as aerospace, the highest quality control standards are of paramount importance to us, and we have been impressed with Berkeley Myles professionalism throughout.”

Developed in 2001, ProgressPlus is designed to provide an innovative solution to help manufacturers streamline, automate and integrate the management and control of shop-floor production and administrative processes. It now has more than 1400 concurrent users throughout the UK and Ireland.

Berkeley Myles managing director, Tony MacBride said: “We are delighted to be working with Derry Precision Tools in a sophisticated, stimulating and challenging sector of industry. At a time when the manufacturing industry is reported to be only slowly emerging from recession, businesses are recognising that it is the most efficient who will survive the economic conditions and go on to prosper.”
