The Deutsch 369 series has been developed primarily to meet the requirements of civil aerospace cabin system applications including; cabin and seat lighting; panel-break interconnection; oxygen and emergency systems; passenger power and seat actuation.
“Regulations in the civil aerospace sector are being tightened to ensure all connectors fitted on aircraft EWIS (Electrical Wiring and Interconnect Systems) are qualified aerospace grade even as part of a sub-system,” stated Deutsch's marketing manager, Gary Bannister. “In many aircraft systems, however, lower grade EWIS components - typically automotive type products - continue to be used. This has led in the past to system failures and, in the worst cases, aircraft and passenger fatalities. The need for a range of connectors to meet this market requirement has led Deutsch to develop the new 369 series.”
The Deutsch 369 range is suitable for a wide range of applications, including civil aerospace cabin systems, and is based on the proven Deutsch ARINC 809/EN4165 single module connector. The 369 is designed for applications where shielding is not required and fewer contacts are needed - there are three standard layouts; 3, 6 and 9 way.
