EADS is Number One with French engineering students

EADS says it has consolidated its position as most attractive employer for engineering students in France.

In the most recent Universum Top 10 survey, the aerospace and defence company is leading the ranking. EADS has held this position for the seventh year running. The international employer branding consultancy Universum has carried out interviews with 26,878 students at 109 French engineering and business schools to find the most popular employers in both categories. Among the engineers, EADS is ahead of companies such as Thales, Google, Veolia and Dassault. “Our excellent image among French students is an important advantage for us,” said Jussi Itävuori, head of EADS human resources. “Although we can offer fascinating products and exciting international working environment, we can't afford to take our position as given. In times of growth and increasing scarcity of qualified employees, it is extremely important for us to appeal to young people seeking a job. This is one of the reasons for launching various initiatives to make EADS an even better place to work; by promoting employee health, well-being and improved work-life balance.” www.eads.com
