FLIR to launch HD airborne solutions at Farnborough

FLIR Systems will highlight its full family of high definition (HD) electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) sensors at the Farnborough International Airshow.

The 15” Star Safire 380-HD sensor is said to be the world's first and only full HD, all-digital system. FLIR Systems has also developed the 9” Star Safire 230-HD system that contains up to seven simultaneous payloads, which the company say makes it the most compact HD multi-sensor system available.
