Systems and engineering consultancy, Frazer-Nash has recruited Simon Leighton as its new aviation business manager to help clients in the sector to reap the benefits that digital tools can deliver to their assets, safety and performance.

Frazer-Nash transport and infrastructure group senior business executive, Phil Harris, said: “Simon brings extensive expertise in aviation, and will be helping airports, air traffic management, airlines, and aircraft operators and maintainers to find strategic and tactical solutions to the challenges they are facing – particularly in adopting and getting the best from new digital technologies.”

“He will be identifying how our expertise in strategic asset management, including maintenance optimisation, can help our aviation clients maximise the value they get from their assets; and how our operational modelling, such as digital twinning, can enable organisations to get the best performance from their systems.”

Leighton (pictured) said: “I am very excited about my role at Frazer-Nash, and look forward to renewing old business relationships as well as generating new opportunities for collaboration in the aviation business.”
