Gardner Aerospace, a leading long-term supplier of detailed parts to Airbus, is celebrating several new contract awards with the global manufacturing giant.

The new awards valued at over $70 million include work packages resulting from Airbus’s detailed parts partner (D2P) commodity-based consolidation programme and are for both machined and sheet metal products.

Dominic Cartwright, chief executive office, Gardner Aerospace, said: “Airbus named Gardner Aerospace as one of only eight leading suppliers of detailed parts in 2018, an accolade we are extremely proud of. These new deals prove the strength of our relationship with the OEM and it’s great to see Airbus showing so much confidence in our business, particularly as we start to plan operations with their support in China.

“We always seek feedback from our clients to understand how we can better meet their needs in the future. These repeat deals with Airbus prove that approach is working very well.”
