GF Machining Solutions exhibits dedicated aerospace solutions, including the new 5-axis Liechti go-Mill 800 turnkey solution for production of blisks and impellers, at Paris Air Show 2017.

Visitors at GF Machining Solutions’ Paris Air Show booth, B57, in Hall 4, will experience how the company helps manufacturers throughout the aerospace value chain prepare for growth in the midst of today’s ongoing aerospace production ramp-up.

The Liechti go-Mill 800 will be officially unveiled at GF Machining Solutions’ Turbine Days, 14-16 November 2017 at Liechti in Langnau, Switzerland, and the Paris Air Show is an opportunity to discover in advance how the aerospace solutions drive users’ productivity while helping them manage their costs.

The Liechti go-Mill 800 represents more than three decades of turbine application expertise, from process engineering and prototype production to process qualification, all aimed at helping aerospace customers keep pace with the current production ramp-up.

From small batches to high-volume production, Liechti solutions help users defeat a vast range of blisk production challenges: thin, complex shapes; the need for single-setup accessibility; expenses related to long machining times that require highly reliable machine tools; reducing costs by consistently finding the optimum point in machining conditions; and, particularly in critical leading and trailing edge zones, the ability to achieve the required surface quality.

Paris Air Show runs from 19–23 June 2017 at Le Bourget airport.
