Gore to unveil latest cable and material products at AIX 2019

Gore will feature a wide variety of its GORE aerospace cables and materials for in-flight entertainment and connectivity (IFEC) at the Aircraft Interiors Expo, Hamburg, Germany on 2-4 April in booth 2E60.

Solutions that will be on display at AIX include GORE microwave/RF assemblies that deliver precise radio frequency for Ka, Ku and L Band satellite applications, as well as GORE leaky feeder antennas that deliver constant connectivity to a variety of wireless networks. Passengers can expect constant Wi-Fi access and mobile phone coverage while flight crews can rely on constant radio communication.

Also featured will be GORE aerospace high speed data cables that support the latest open-source architectures and standardised protocols such as HDMI, USB, Ethernet, and more. These cables with rugged jacket systems are proven to deliver unfailing signals and transfer fast data and video. Passengers can upload/download content faster, watch high-definition movies/videos, and charge portable devices quickly and easily. Flight crews can receive real-time data and view cockpit displays with high clarity.

Finally, Gore will exhibit dry, lightweight tapes and gaskets that have been proven to reliably seal and protect aircraft panels, floorboards, and windows for more than 20 years. GORE SKYFLEX aerospace materials are specified by leading OEMs and approved for use on multiple aircraft.
