Grob to host ‘behind the scenes’ in-house exhibition

Grob-Werke has announced it will host an in-house exhibition to offer visitors a look behind the scenes at its Mindelheim, Germany headquarters.

Held from May 3-6, 2022, the company’s comprehensive range of technologies and machines will be shown in one place, with more than 50 co-exhibitors and partners also presenting a wide range of technologies and innovations to visitors.

The centrepiece and venue of the in-house exhibition will be the Technology and Application Centre (TAC) in Hall 9. With additional hall space, the exhibition area could be expanded by a further 50% to do justice to the largest variety of Grob technologies and products ever shown. This includes all versions of all Grob universal machining centres from the 4-axis and 5-axis range.

In addition, system machines such as the G-Module and a G520F from the F-Series, which is one of the largest machines Grob has ever shown at an exhibition, will be on display. The G520F was specially designed and developed by the Grob designers for machining lightweight components, such as structural frame components and chassis parts, and battery housings too. The other live exhibits also include the complete range of automation solutions, which stand for even more flexibility with their versatility and individuality.

In the field of additive manufacturing, the new Liquid Metal Printing System GMP300 will also be shown for the first time and will be celebrated at its major premiere during the in-house exhibition.

In addition, highlights from the electromobility area will be presented with numerous exhibits and the areas of Grob-NET4Industry, Grob service, the quality checked used machines, and the customer training will also be integrated into the exhibition.

In the presentation area, lectures by Grob experts on a wide variety of topics will take place throughout the exhibition. Both the wide range of services and the latest developments in the field of digitalisation will be presented, including the Grob-NET4Industry software solution specially developed by Grob.

Traditionally, there will also be an exhibition area for more than 50 co-exhibitors and partners who will present their products from the areas of tools, clamping devices, CAM programming, controls and measuring systems, among other things. Exciting factory tours through the Grob production halls will top off the program and give visitors a glimpse behind the scenes and into the dynamic development of Grob-Werke.
