Heller to debut new F-Series range at Farnborough

Following on from recent success with the introduction of its horizontal H Series range, Heller Machine Tools (hall 4, stand 22) is to debut its new 5-axis machining centre range

, the F Series, at Farnborough. The range features four new high torque machines of two completely different types, all featuring SK 40 and HSK 63 spindle tapers. Two premium models, FP 2000 and FP 4000, include the provision of rapid pallet changers and are designed to deliver excellent levels of productivity within all high throughput engineering production environments. The cost-effective Heller FT 2000 and FT 4000, 5 axis Machine Tool variants feature easy to access workpiece support tables. The 2000 models offer a work area of 630mm x 630mm x 830mm in XYZ, while the two 4000 models provide a larger capacity of 800mm x 800mm x 1000mm. Although the machines use many components from Heller's proven modular building block system, the F Series' machine structure and axis configuration have been specifically designed to meet the particularly demanding requirements of aerospace- related 5-axis machining. Heller UK's Geoff Lloyd enthused: “As the Farnborough International Airshow is regarded as one of the world's most iconic global aviation events, it represents an ideal showcase for our new F series, as many UK and international aerospace manufacturers will be either exhibiting or visiting the show.” www.helleruk.com
