From 25 to 29 April 2018 this airshow will take place at Berlin ExpoCenter Airport and will represent a marketing platform showcasing innovations and new technology from the entire aerospace industry. The focus will be on forward-looking concepts, such as sustainability, digitisation, 3D printing/bionic design and Industry 4.0. Products representing cutting-edge technology will also be part of the ILA programme of flying displays. The new ILA concept launched in 2016 covers trend-setting topics from the global industry and is embodied in the slogan ‘Innovation and Leadership in Aerospace’.
Registrations are already being taken for ILA 2018 under the regular online address at www.ila-berlin.com. Exhibitors who register by 31 October 2017 will receive an Early Bird discount amounting to ten per cent off the stand rental fee.
Key display sections at ILA 2018 will include Aviation, Space, Defence & Security and Suppliers, featuring the International Suppliers Centre (ISC). The Special Features displays will cover such areas as the ILA Future Lab, the UAV Base, the ILA HeliLounge and the ILA CareerCenter. Parallel with the show an outstanding programme of conferences will be taking place which will address current topics and the future challenges facing the aerospace industry. In addition, ILA will be hosting numerous matchmaking and networking events.
At ILA 2016 more than 1,000 exhibitors from 37 countries displayed a wide range of their latest high-tech products as well as research and development projects. A total of 150,000 trade visitors and members of the public came to find out about products and services on a display area covering 250,000 square metres at Berlin ExpoCenter Airport. Some 200 aircraft were presented on the outdoor display site and at the flying displays.
From 19 to 25 June at the Paris Airshow at Le Bourget, the ILA trade fair team will be represented on a 2,000m2 large combined German display in hall 2C, stand C372).
