ILA closes Europe's gap in the B2B market

ILA has announced that its International Suppliers Centre (ISC) continues to grow and claims the highest number of bookings from the components and supply industry since being introduced in 2006.

Conceived as a ‘fair within a fair', this section of ILA has now already taken bookings from 60% more exhibitors than in 2008. Approximately 250 companies from 16 countries will be exhibiting their products and services in an area covering 5,000m² in Hall 11 on the southern section of Berlin-Schönefeld Airport.

About half of the exhibitors are from abroad, while it is the first time that companies from Belgium, Finland, India, Japan, Singapore, Switzerland, Taiwan and Tunisia are represented. In contrast to ILA 2008, associations representing the supply industry have expressed a greater degree of interest, and in addition to a larger number of national bodies, associations from Canada, France, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Tunisia and the UK will also be represented at the ISC.

Against the backdrop of a worldwide trend towards globalisation and rationalisation of supplier chains, the ISC provides international component manufacturers supplying the aerospace and defence markets with a platform for demonstrating their technological expertise, and an opportunity for networking and meeting companies and their decision makers. The fact that the event is an integral part of the ILA gives the supply industry an ideal opportunity to meet all the leading international companies exhibiting there as well as the vast number of trade visitors from around the world.

ILA 2010 take place from 8-13 June. The first three days of the show are reserved exclusively for trade visitors and the ISC at the ILA will only be open on these three days.
