JJ Churchill, an aerospace machining specialist based in Leicestershire, has won a UK industry award for leadership and strategy.

At the Manufacturer MX Awards ceremony in Liverpool, the Leicestershire-based company won the Leadership and Strategy Award at the culmination of Digital Manufacturing Week.

The award was presented to executive chairman Andrew Churchill in front of over 800 guests.

JJ Churchill, who joined the Sharing in Growth programme in 2014, specialises in aerospace and defence sectors and has more than 80 years’ experience in production of gas turbine blades from forgings, castings and solid billet.

This year alone JJ Churchill has also been recognised with a Rolls-Royce ‘Trusted to Deliver Excellence’ award, a Leicester Mercury Excellence in Manufacturing Award, and a Sharing in Growth All STAR certificate.
