Aerospace business development and sales support consultancy kc4business is celebrating its fifth anniversary.

Kathryn Clamp founded the firm in 2015 to provide outsource support as an extension of clients’ businesses without the cost or need for a full-time member of staff. She counts cutting-edge engineering businesses in aerospace among her clients.

Clamp, who is based in Thame, Oxfordshire, said: “It is incredibly rewarding to be able to use my many years of experience to support ambitious businesses of all sizes in their growth plans.

“Many of my clients are on the cutting edge of technology, and it is exciting to combine my expertise with their new ideas to achieve results.”

Clamp added: “To reach my fifth anniversary really is a milestone and I am very grateful to my clients and everyone who has supported me so far.

“There is plenty to look forward to and be positive about despite the ongoing impact of Covid, which makes relationship building and collaboration between businesses more important than ever.”

Clamp, now aged 66, began her career in the army before working as a business account manager and member of the UK management team at leading electrical component manufacturer E-T-A Circuit Breakers for more than 20 years.

She launched kc4business after being made redundant. Her diverse range of outsourcing services include relationship building within the supply chain, support for preparation and attendance at major trade shows, development of new and existing customers, and following up potential new clients.

Her clients include aircraft interiors firm Flitetec and mart remote condition monitoring firm FliteTrak. As well as aerospace she has clients in energy, defence and rail.

Kathryn has business support from her daughter Jo Dinnage, who is also a director of kc4business, as well as a wealth of family support.

She is a member of the policy committee of the defence trade association NDI, which is part of Make UK.

She also sat on the SME defence committee of the ADS trade body for aerospace, defence, security and space for many years.
