Kyocera SGS has welcomed a new addition to its technical sales team. Christopher McGuinness will cover the South West region of the UK.

McGuinness brings with him a wealth of experience in machining and management. He has hands-on industry knowledge gained in manual and CNC machining and workshop management in a range of engineering companies.

In just under 10 years, in addition to his core machining expertise and qualifications, McGuinness has gained proven experience in integrating Insight 123, reviewing production and processes, quoting for projects, liaising with customers and suppliers, implementing health and safety measures and training employees. Therefore he’s well equipped to understand the issues that affect businesses in the aerospace, automotive and medical sectors.

Bringing McGuinness on board is part of Kyocera SGS’s ongoing expansion and commitment to its customers. Whether it is boosting the business with more specialist knowledge or creating a new, more customer-focused website, KYOCERA SGS is continually looking for fresh ways to help companies resolve long-standing engineering challenges.

Tony Theaker, UK sales manager at Kyocera SGS, said: “We are pleased to be able to add to the already impressive range of expertise within our team of Sales Engineers. Christopher McGuinness joining our team will help us to continue to effectively meet the needs of customers across the UK.”
