LVMC set to scale new heights in 2011

The seventh Large Volume Metrology Conference (LMVC) and Exhibition has been confirmed for 15–16 November 2011.

The seventh Large Volume Metrology Conference (LMVC) and Exhibition has been confirmed for 15–16 November 2011.

Taking place in the Concorde Conference Centre near Manchester Airport, LVMC remains the only European event solely dedicated to portable and large volume 3D measurement technology.

The move from Chester is a direct response to the event's potential for growth and means more delegates and exhibitors than ever will be able to attend. LVMC continues to be supported by Airbus.

Describing the aspirations of LVMC 2011, PAG member and Faro Area vice-president of sales, UK, France and Benelux, Dave Homewood said: “The move to Manchester was part of a concerted effort to fulfil LVMC's growth potential and give more metrologists more reasons to spend two days in each other's company.

“The conference element is designed to be informative, topical and educational to stimulate further debate and to inspire ongoing personal development and this year will see a more practical bent towards the imperative issue of measuring and manufacturing in the UK and Europe.”

A delegate pass for two days costs £95 +VAT while students are welcomed at just £40 +VAT. For more information on how to register and/or exhibit please visit the website
