MSM’s expansion plans continue apace

With an 80 year heritage producing complex fabrications for the aerospace industry, MSM has launched its new 5 year plan.

The £3.5 million capital investment was given the go ahead by the Board in May 2017 and encompasses a new 35,000 ft2 factory on the adjacent site in Manchester, together with new equipment and added capability to meet the future demands of the industry.

2015 and 2016 has seen significant business growth for MSM, creating new job opportunities, as well as the need for training and re-training of staff. The business plan sees this pattern continuing throughout the next 5 years and represents a significant investment in people and technology.

The company has set its sights on becoming the aerospace industry’s supplier of choice for complex hydroformed parts and welded assemblies, with ambitious plans and targets to achieve that position.
