Nasmyth TMF appoints new general manager

Nasmyth Group has announced the appointment of Michael Steinberg as general manager of Nasmyth TMF in Valencia, California.

Nasmyth TMF is a specialist in metal finishing, painting, and non-destructive testing for the aerospace and defence industries.

A certified FAA repair station, Nasmyth TMF offers both protective and cosmetic coatings. Capabilities include complex masking, painting, grit blasting, quality testing, electro-mechanics, tartaric sulfuric anodising and boric sulfuric anodising.

Simon Beech, Nasmyth Group chief operating officer, commented: “Nasmyth TMF has developed a reputation for reliability, precision and speed over the course of its 55 years in the industry. We welcome Michael to our state-of-the-art metal finishing facilities in southern California. Michael brings a wealth of experience in the aerospace industry including De-Dietrich Process Systems, E/M Coatings, Orion Industries and Tech Finishers, amongst others.”

Michael has a BSC in chemistry from the University of South Florida and has had a distinguished career as chief operating officer, global division manager and director of operations. He has extensive experience in the global metal finishing industry over 30 years and a proven track record of growth management skills.

Commenting on his appointment, Steinberg added: “I am excited to be joining Nasmyth TMF as a working member of the senior Nasmyth Group team and welcoming the challenges and opportunities the lie ahead.”
