New member, new facility for Winbro

Winbro Group Technologies has announced the appointment of Robb Hudson to the team. Hudson will fulfil the role of vice president, North America and play a key part in the launch of Winbro's new technology and development centre, based in the Charlotte, North Carolina area.

Hudson will lead North American activities for capital equipment; technology development projects and manufacturing offload for blades, vanes, combustors and other turbine components requiring cooling holes.

“We couldn't be more pleased with the talented group of industry experienced people that have recently joined Winbro,” commented Winbro Group Technologies' managing director, Robert Folwell. “With the addition of Robb Hudson, our team is now ready to launch our new site in the Charlotte area. We expect to have equipment on the floor and working on customer projects by early fall.”
