New members join aerospace group

The North West Aerospace Alliance has signed five new members to its ranks.

Growing interest in its services has seen a number of companies from outside the region join the group, including recent new members SSI Schaefer, a logistics and waste management company based in Andover, Hampshire. Also joining the NWAA recently are companies including precision manufacturers Graham Engineering of Nelson, Lancashire; and information systems provider StoneHouse Logic of Clayton-le-Moors, Lancashire. Kuehne and Nagel, aerospace logistics specialists of Pulford, Cheshire, has also joined along with Acoustic Applications, an industrial noise control company based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. Martin Wright, chief executive of the NWAA, said: “The NWAA continues to develop and expand its offering to businesses in the North West and beyond, and we are working hard to represent the world-leading businesses in the region. “We offer the aerospace community and its supply chain genuine support as we aim to keep the region on a firm footing, competing across the globe.” www.aerospace.co.uk
