New Tunisian aerospace exhibition to take place in 2020

The 1st edition of IADE Tunisia, one of the largest civil and military meetings in Africa, will be held from 4-8 March 2020 at the Djerba-Zarzis International Airport.

The show is expected to attract more than 200 exhibitors, 100 official delegations and more than 40,000 visitors, is part of the Tunisian development strategy of the aerospace and defence industry, and more generally, that of the African continent.

The show covers an area of 100,000m2, including 2000m2 of business chalets and more than 100 aircrafts and non-flying gears of major operators.

On March 4th, 5th and 6th, the show will be opened exclusively to professionals who will have access to thematic areas allowing them to attend demonstrations and presentations static and dynamic but also to embrace the evolutions of the industry. The show promises many investment opportunities in these sectors in Africa while consolidating the latest initiatives of OEMs and suppliers of aerospace and defence.

During March 7th and 8th, the aerospace sections of the show will open their doors to the general public. It will be an opportunity to discover the exhibitions of aircrafts but also to attend spectacular air shows in the skies of Djerba.

Aware of the increased interest of the international aerospace and defence sector for the African continent, the show aspires to be in 2020 "the place" of B2B and B2G meetings between African institutional participants and international industrialists of the sector.

To this end, a massive invitation program to African delegations and countries of the Mediterranean region, civil and military is in place to make IADE Tunisia a major event for the continent which will constitute a development opportunity for the economy of the sector and confirm the international status of the aerospace and defence industry in Africa.

Supported by the Tunisian authorities, IADE 2020 covers the three major fields of aerospace and defence, namely, civil and military materials and equipment, industrial subcontracting and maintenance (MRO).
