Novator says it has received an order worth €106,000 from a Japanese customer within the aerospace industry for advanced portable drilling machines based on its patented Orbital Drilling technology.

The customers aim is to significantly reduce process time and increase tool life in the production. Orbital Drilling enables dry drilling without creating burrs and delamination and without leaving chips and other residue in the structure which is considered a great benefit.

“We are very happy to receive this order since these units are the first to be used in production in Japan,” said Novator's CEO, Hans-Petter Andersson. “This is a milestone for us and we are looking forward to continue building long-term relationships with our Japanese customers.”
