Oerlikon Balzers Great Britain (BUK) has announced that Alistair Burns will join company on 8th May as director of sales & operations. He will report to Martin Bartsch, head of area Europe North-Centre.

Oerlikon Balzers Great Britain (BUK) has announced that Alistair Burns will join company on 8th May as director of sales & operations. He will report to Martin Bartsch, head of area Europe North-Centre.

Burns has worked at Chromalloy UK as general manager for the past few years and has held various managerial positions at AGC AeroComposites and SPS Aerostructures, among others.

He holds a BSc Honours in Manufacturing Systems Engineering and is Six Sigma Green Belt qualified. He comes with considerable experience in lean management, quality and operations.
