PPG has announced that its Dallas and Philadelphia aerospace application support centres (ASCs) each received a Silver Boeing Performance Excellence Award for superior performance from October 2017 through September 2018.

The Philadelphia ASC supplies aerospace sealants, aerospace coatings, PPG SEMCO packaging and application systems, chemical packaging services and chemical management services to the Boeing Philadelphia site in Ridley Township, Pennsylvania. The Dallas ASC is a coatings and sealants supplier to the aerospace company’s San Antonio, Texas, facility.

“PPG is proud to receive this recognition from Boeing for providing products and services used in the manufacture and maintenance of its critical military aircraft,” said Tim Behmlander, PPG general manager, aerospace, Americas (pictured). “The PPG Philadelphia and Dallas teams are to be commended for their dedication to on-time delivery of high-quality materials while helping Boeing be more efficient. All of us at PPG will continue to support the teams as they strive to be the best.”

PPG’s global aerospace business offers coatings, sealants, transparencies, packaging and application systems, and transparent armour, as well as chemical management and other services.
