After the successful implementation of the A350XWB projects, RO-RA Aviation Systems is expanding its collaboration with Rolls Royce.

After the Airbus A350XWB, the Boeing 787 and Airbus A330neo are now the focus of a new major commission, for which the framework contract has been agreed for 5 years.

After the completion of the damping elements for the engine blades made from a highly stable steel alloy, with RO-RA responsible for the whole value chain including surface treatments, the company now has highly precise components in all Rolls Royce engine programmes.

Then there’s also the special process for bonding the individual parts, developed and qualified by RO-RA in Schörfling.

Rolls Royce’s involvement in RO-RA is enormous and plays a significant role in the development of this aviation company on Lake Attersee.

Managing director Helmut Wiesenberger commented: “Thanks to the high quality standard we stand for even in complex systems, we have become Rolls Royce’s benchmark in the areas of automated manufacturing and supply chain. This is, of course, motivating, but also comes with great responsibility.”
