Tecnatom presents its latest developments at WCNDT 2016

Munich hosts the 19th World Conference on Non-Destructive Testing (WCNDT), with more than 2,200 experts participating in this important congress, and a large exhibition area (276 exhibitors), an intensive programme of lectures (673 in 144 sessions) and a schedule of meetings and workshops.

Tecnatom participates in the 19th WCNDT with its own booth and three papers by its research staff. Two of them focused on the nuclear sector: Check Valve Diagnosis by Sectorial Scanning Phased Array Ultrasonic Technique and Ultrasonic Testing of ITER Toroidal Field Coil Cases Closure Welds. The third and final presentation will focus on aerospace: Laser Ultrasonics Inspections of Aeronautical Components by Means of Robotic Systems.

With over 50 years’ experience in NDT, Tecnatom is showing its latest developments in this field, both inspection systems, services and training, as its progress in NDT through R&D.

M2M, one of the two French subsidiaries of Tecnatom, also attends the event with its own stand, which will show the upgrades of GEKKO, the portable phased-array ultrasonic flaw detector inspection system.
