Digital radiography is a form of x-ray imaging, where digital x-ray sensors are used instead of traditional photographic films to detect material defects within the casting. The new method will speed up the inspection process and the results are repeatable and can be saved in a digital format. This will allow Tital not only to permanently save the testing results, but also to provide their customers the data directly without any additional costs for expensive x-ray films.
