Trade Commission flies French tech at Farnborough

The French Trade Commission in London will present eight French companies on its stand, which will be part of the French Pavilion at Farnborough International Airshow.

The French Pavilion's stand A15 in Hall will offer a unique environment in which visitors will be able to discover new products and find potential business partners. The exhibiting companies will showcase a range of cutting edge products and technologies from across the entire aerospace sector. These companies are aiming to reinforce their professional contacts and explore new business opportunities between France and the UK.

The companies due to attend are listed below:

Aquarese designs and produces machinery for the automotive sector (engines and bodies) as well as the aerospace industry. Its processes and products include scouring, abrasive cutting, micro-drilling, waterjet cutting, washing/flushing, deburring, assembly and test, autofrettage, and fatigue test.

Aviatec specialises in aerospace product distribution, with a product portfolio covering a full range of chemicals, including adhesives, lubricants, sealants, paints, cleaners and surface treatment products. Aviatec also offers global sourcing contracts, which cover outsourcing, stock management, quality control, shelf life monitoring and call delivery.

Forest Liné specialises in the manufacture of powerful, highly accurate, large dimensional machine tools. The company offers expertise in the design, the manufacture and the installation of large dimensional production systems for the aerospace industry.

FP Soudage draws special filler metals from major foundries for use in the nuclear, energy, aerospace and tooling industries. The company makes fluxes for brazing aluminium and has worldwide exclusive rights to draw Aubert & Duval hardfacing steels.

Intespace, a subsidiary of EADS Astrium, is a service and engineering company that provides a complete set of environment simulation test facilities for the space, aeronautics and defence sectors. The company has extensive expertise in creating test facilities and test benches. It has also developed the Dynaworks software package for test-based engineering.

Potez Aeronautique is a prime subcontractor for the production of airframe assembly in both the civilian and military fields, from detail parts to assembly. Potez also specialises in large-size profile and skin-stretch forming. The company has extended its activities to include the repair and overhaul of aircraft structures, with a department dedicated solely to this.

Srebot Technologies is a subcontractor specialising in machining medium to large-sized precision parts for the aerospace, oil and automotive industries. The company's core business is the production of large parts for aero-engines, whether for civilian or military programmes, from compressor rings and the shroud van stage to splitters, compressor cases, and support bearings.

Structil supplies intermediate products to the high-performance composites industry. The company's technology for resin formulation includes organic and mineral resins, structural adhesives, prepregs and pultruded profiles. Structil also manufactures speciality products such as microwave, abative and fire-resistant materials.

The Trade Commission of the French Embassy in London promotes trade development between France and the UK by offering a range of services to French companies. The Industrial Goods Department organises B2B events in the form of conferences and networking opportunities, mainly in London.
