Valuechain has signed a strategic partnership with Korean manufacturing company, Clad Korea at the TCT Korea exhibition, to bring Valuechain solutions to the East Asian additive manufacturing marketplace.

The initial agreement will enable both Clad Korea and Valuechain group to expand their association together and bring Valuechain’s additive manufacturing solutions, including its flagship DNAam production control software, to new markets and territories in East Asia.

Developed in collaboration with Airbus UK, and already commercially available in the UK, Europe and US, Valuechain’s DNAam software addresses niche requirements of the additive manufacturing production process including managing AM build planning and providing complete powder traceability, with batch splitting, control of blending and powder recovery management.

Jim Walters, DNAam managing director, commented: “After proving out our DNAam software with Airbus UK and companies in UK and Europe, we’re delighted to begin this partnership with such a well-respected company in Asia, to deliver best practice additive manufacturing production processes to companies looking to enter and grow in this flourishing sector.”

With sites in Pohang, Gyeongju, Wonju Korea and Dubai in the UAE, Clad Korea are set to become a customer, distributor, and resale partner of Valuechain’s DNAam software, to standardise additive manufacturing production processes in East Asia.

Brandon Lee, CEO of Clad Korea, said: “Valuechain’s DNAam technology is a unique offering to the market, with great potential to enable rapid and mass production of additive manufactured parts. As we look to enter the additive manufacturing market ourselves, we believe this product will give us a competitive advantage in the industry, and we’re excited to be able to contribute to the growth of this technology in Asia by helping to deliver this solution throughout South Korea.”

This partnership was signed days after the TCT Korea show, in Changwon. It was the additive manufacturing media company’s first time bringing their exhibition tradeshow to South Korea, and provided encouraging signs of growth of additive manufacturing in East Asia.
