Vendigital makes strategic aerospace industry hire

With over 20 years’ experience in the aerospace and defence sector, Ian Joesbury is a vice president of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and director of Advanced Laser Technology, a business that manufactures large 3D printers for metal components and laser cleaning systems. He is also a non-executive director of Oxsensis, a technology business that makes high-performance optical sensors for jet engines and other advanced equipment. In a former role at Meggitt, Joesbury led its Polymers & Composites division, working internationally and delivering a number of high-value programmes.

At Vendigital, Joesbury will be advising the firm’s growing corporate client base on how to adapt their operating structures, internationally and domestically, to take advantage of the latest emerging technologies and strengthen their market position. His expertise in developing and implementing global procurement strategies in the aerospace industry is particularly relevant in the current marketplace.
