Tooling expert Walter GB has announced the DB130 Advance as its smallest solid carbide micro twist drill for diameters from just 0.1mm to 1.45mm.

Boasting high precision and process reliability, the new drill is suited to a wide range of applications - with oils and emulsions, in the ISO material groups P, M, K, N, S, and O for general mechanical engineering, as well as the mould and die-making sectors.

DB130 Advance drills are made using a homogeneous micrograin carbide – a special grade that enables optimum cutting-edge formation for high-precision applications. For diameters of 0.5mm and above, the Walter range includes the DB133 Supreme solid carbide drill. In addition, Walter GB’s DB130 Advance is its smallest solid carbide micro twist drill for diameters from 0.1mm to 1.45mm.
