Carter Americas expansion brings big benefits

Precision bearing specialists Carter Manufacturing has announced the expansion of its US-based facility Carter Americas in Minneapolis, underlining a continued growth and further improving its ability to serve customers across North and South America.

The larger facility enables the company to hold more inventories of its specialist hybrid and ceramic bearings for high temperature, cryogenic, ultra-high vacuum and other applications involving extreme environments. This includes specific aerospace bearing tools for the MS14101, MS14103 and BACB10 ranges, along with full custom and AOG bearing tool production support. Centrally located in the US and very close to the MSP international airport, this new ‘state-of-the-art’ facility enables urgent, next-day deliveries - helping to fully exploit the benefits of working in a central US time zone.

Launched in 2020, Carter Americas has established the scope of the Carter Manufacturing quality control manuals for the American market as well as being ITAR registered for defence programmes and certified for both ISO9001 and AS9120. Additionally, Carter Americas holds significant stock of NMB spherical plain bearings and rod ends to support the high-end Motorsport market.

Carter Americas is primarily focused on developing the huge opportunities within the American market supplying a wide range of products, including Custom Aerospace Bearings, Motorsport Spherical Plain Bearings and Rod Ends, Tools, Hybrid and Ceramic Bearings, High Temperature Bearings, Lightweight Slewing Rings and Custom-Made to order bearings. Furthermore, its exclusive distribution rights for NMB’s cutting edge E-Type bearings across North and South America, gives customers the chance to exploit a competitive edge across all NASCAR and IndyCar applications and other similar motorsport activities.
