New autoclave heralds start of operations

CML Group has unveiled the latest addition to its growing inventory of equipment as construction of the company's new facility in Bromborough progresses ahead of schedule.

A new autoclave, supplied by Autoclaves Limited, is BMI capable and measures 2.5m diameter x 6.2m deep internally. Once the new autoclave has been commissioned and qualified, CML's existing autoclave will be fully refurbished and relocated to the new facility. Space has been allocated for a third autoclave to meet the future demand for composites.

The transfer of other equipment and operations will commence in July with the new facility expected to be fully operational by the fourth quarter of this year.
