New contract for Icon Polymer

Icon Polymer is building on its reputation for safety-critical components with a new contract to supply fire seals for the Bombardier CSeries commercial jet.

Leading polymer component manufacturer This is the latest in a series of contracts for commercial aerospace components for Icon Polymer and will see it supplying fire seals for the pylon on the CSeries aircraft to Spirit AeroSystems. Icon Polymer sales director Neal Hillier said: “Winning this contract reflects our expertise in high quality components for a range of safety-critical applications and we are delighted to be working with Spirit AeroSystems on this project.” www.iconpolymer.com
