Omega Systèmes (hall 2B, stand C140), a Web Industries company, will highlight its capabilities in the formatting of composite materials for commercial and defence aerospace applications at the Paris Airshow.

“With Omega Systèmes’ recent acquisition by US-based Web Industries, we now boast an international reach and footprint,” said Jean-Louis Bretin, founder and CEO of Omega. We have acquired new slitting technologies, expanding our offerings for aerospace customers.

“As part of Web Industries, Omega now has the ability to provide advanced formatting products and services on an international basis,” he continues. “The formatted materials are fabricated by aerospace OEMs and suppliers into strong, lightweight composite parts, reducing weight and costs in structural and semi structural aerospace applications.”

Omega Systèmes’ production facilities in Nantes and Bordeaux, France, can support major aerospace programs throughout Europe. The company specialises in advanced formatting technologies, including precision slitting, ply cutting, kitting and waterjet cutting. It is qualified for all major AFP and ATL lines.
