RAR has been a respected supplier of aerospace engineering components for more than 50 years. Its bearing products are fitted in both military and commercial aircraft as well as space craft.

They are also used in many associated leading-edge technologies such as optical sighting systems and laser range finding.

Its extensive range of Kaydon thin section bearings have been central to this product programme but now the company has added another respected range to its armoury; McGill speciality bearings from Regal.

This move will allow R. A. Rodriguez to enhance its ability to provide custom-made bearings to OEMs serving the aerospace sector. Regal’s McGill speciality bearings have been specified by the aerospace industry for more than 60 years to reduce weight, increase payload and improve performance.

Key to the association is the technical advice and consultancy service provided by R. A. Rodriguez. These skills will allow the company to work closely with manufacturers in the design and specification of customised bearings to achieve a cost-effective solution. The bearing types available include cylindrical roller, needle roller, spherical roller, ball and roller sets.
