Designed to accelerate the competitiveness of the aerospace and defence industries, the SC21 programme has over 650 businesses on its continuous improvement journey. With over 400 awards granted since 2009 SC21 has enabled significant business growth within the UK supply chain. The programme is run by aerospace trade organisation ADS Group. Airbus has seen SC21 deliver benefits to aerospace supplier performance as well as a solid framework to develop their operations and grow. Airbus is sponsoring the creation of a series of regional clusters, supported by the Regional Aerospace Alliances, focusing on shared learning and benchmarking.
