Boeing has announced that Schatz Bearing Corporation has achieved the Performance Excellence Award (BPEA) for 2019, marking six consecutive years.

Schatz has been a manufacturer and custom designer of ball bearings for some of the most prominent, performance-driven global companies for almost 40 years.

Maintaining the Silver level of recognition from Boeing is a testament to the employees at Schatz as there are rigid standards to uphold.

To achieve the prestigious Silver status from Boeing, a supplier must deliver goods 98% – 99.99% on-time, and have a quality acceptance rating of 99.80% – 99.99%.

Sustaining this level of performance is one of the many things that distinguishes the company in the development of precision bearings for the aerospace industry.

Boeing commented: “Performance excellence is fundamental to the success of both our companies. We extend our sincere congratulations to the employees of Schatz Bearing Corp. for demonstrating their dedication to the high performance standards necessary to meet customer expectations and remain competitive in the global economy.”

Schatz’s company structure allows it the ability to be flexible and highly responsive and to truly develop collaborative partnerships with its customers. Together with its product consistency and extensive expertise in the aerospace industry, Schatz has earned the respect from global industry partners.

The company commented: “We thank our amazing team for making this honor possible. Your dedication to perfection has continued to position Schatz as an industry leader in aerospace bearing manufacturing. With ongoing commitment, we’ll continue to work hard to achieve the performance you’ve come to expect from Schatz Bearing Corporation.”
