AJW steps up integrated consumables service

An expanded service from the world's leading independent spares specialist to help airlines and MROs minimise administrative and inventory costs and improve operational efficiency.

AJ Walter Aviation (AJW) is growing its current multi-million dollar portfolio of consumables supply contracts by further investment in key provisioning, sourcing and inventory management resources.

AJW's Integrated Consumables Management solution eases the demand management, ordering and receipt cycle for consumables through planned consignments. And with AJW's logistics capability, this expanded service guarantees to deliver the right part to the right place at the right time.

Consumables demand and delivery is completed almost instantaneously as parts are readily available at customers' premises from the planned, managed and replenished consignment stock.

“We want to take the complexity out of this process for our customers,” explained AJW's consumables supply manager Nick Roberts. “We're offering a streamlined solution to minimise inventory, cost and the large vendor base many airlines currently face – and we're applying the same delivery and service standards to our consumables consignment business that have made us the world's leading independent component spares specialist.”
